OUR PROCESS
Our goal at onelessmade is to make our tees out of completely salvaged materials. We source only the softest fabric and search for the highest quality fabric available.
.

Garments suitable for our t-shirts are sourced, sorted, and go through a lengthy cleaning process. Reusing fabric in tact is not only sustainable but it’s fibers are stronger than recycled fibers.

Next the salvaged t-shirts we choose are completely cut apart leaving us with raw material to work with. New pattern pieces are then cut from these raw material pieces.

This is Lolis Garcia, our local master seamstress who sews together the new pattern pieces to make beautiful t-shirts. She has been working for the shop we use for 20 years and is paid a fair living wage. She is an artist.
Each shirt is inspected and the onelessmade tag is sewn into the shirt. A clothing tag made of recycled paper is attached using ribbons of fabric scraps. The shirt is added to our inventory.
Our shipping boxes and tissue paper are recycled.
